Stansted Airport is 40 minutes by car, and has excellent rail links both to London (43 minutes) and Cambridge (33 minutes). Stansted currently handles 21 million travellers a year, including 3 million business passengers; it is rapidly growing in importance as a hub for London and the East of England, and discussions regarding scheduled flights to China and to San Jose (Silicon Valley) are currently being held. Heathrow is approximately 120 minutes by road.

Discounts can normally be obtained on your behalf for the two most prestigious hotels in central Cambridge. At certain times of the year, accommodation or dinners can also be booked in some of the Cambridge Colleges.
